Our fun at the Jazz game

Well, most of you who know us know that Jason is a huge Jazz fan. So he decided that it would be fun to take the whole family to the Jazz-Kings game in Sacramento. We went to the basketball game this last Tuesday and everyone wore their Jazz attire. Afton and Dax had Jazz T-shirts (thanks to G-ma Sharon and G-pa Rex), Jason and I wore Jazz shirts and Logan wore an AK 47 Jersey (thanks aunt Jessie). We were all decked out and got some mean looks from some of the Kings fans.

The game was lots of fun, but it was quite an adventure and not to mention the Jazz did lose. I don't know how it is for everyone else, but going anywhere with three little kids is always an adventure. They actually did ok. I was just nervous as a mom because we were in the very top row and they kept going over by the really steep stairs. And they wanted to play right by the stairs, so I had to keep pulling them over to our seats. It was lots of fun! I'm just grateful that no one fell down the stairs.

Jason's cousins, Adam, Aaron and Ryan, were at the game too, but they had a little bit better seating. They were actually right behind the Jazz bench! Jason was so jealous. He got to go up and check out their seats before the game started. And the Jazz players were warming up on the court while he was there. He even got a thumbs up by Kirlenko for Logan's Jersey. Jason said it was pretty cool. If only he could've stayed for the whole game in those awesome seats. Maybe another time when we're rich and famous.

The kids had lots of fun. We went with another family in our ward, The Fallentine's, and they have a daughter that's a couple years older than Afton. So Afton was excited to have a friend to play with. They had fun goofing around and being silly and not paying any attention to the basketball game.

Dax, on the other hand, was into the game. He really wanted to go down and play basketball with the players and kept trying to go down the stairs. He was dressed in his basketball clothes, minus the boots, and ready to play. He was cheering for the Jazz and saying "Go D-Will" and shouting defense with the crowd. He loved it all!
