build-a-bear

My mom and dad gave Logan a Build-a-Bear gift card for his birthday, so we headed over to the mall so Logan could get his first build a bear, although I should say build a dog cause he got a dog. He picked it out himself, put a sound in his paw, filled him up with fluff, washed him and then picked out some brand new spiderman clothes for his new doggy.

Picking out his brand new heart....

filling it up with some fluff....

giving him a good scrub down....

all packed up and ready to go home. Uh, hello!? I didn't even get a picture of him with his dog. Whoops! I guess I better do that.

Silly Logan

Logan is such a character and is always doing the funniest things. I've taken some pictures of him in these funny moments so I thought I'd post some.

What happens when you give a toddler a piece of licorice?
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS! A VERY BIG MESS!

He was trying to reach something in the tub and fell over and was holding himself up with his hands in the tub and feet in the air and crying for someone to help him. I had to take a picture.

Just a cute picture of Dax sitting on Jason's face.

Kayaking

Back on July 18th, Jason and I went with our friends Chris and Krissy for a fun kayak ride down the river. We borrowed some single seat kayaks, drove to Knights Ferry, unloaded and jumped in the water and headed down the river to Chris and Krissy's house. We had a great time with our friends. We always love hanging out with the Fallentines. They are so much fun! The day was very hot, but the river was nice and cold so it felt good to jump in. It was quite the workout too. The river was pretty low and not flowing too fast so we had to work really hard at paddling to make our way. But I didn't mind. The scenery was beautiful and we even did some cliff jumping along the way. I think it took us about 4 to 5 hours to make our way to their home. Poor Jason was hurting pretty badly towards the end. He got a major sunburn on his chest and stomach and legs. Supposedly he used sunscreen, but I guess he didn't apply it very well. Sorry I don't have any pictures along the river. I didn't want to risk tipping over with my camera in my kayak. We had waterproof cameras, but I don't have any of those pictures yet.
