A couple weeks ago we had some really awesome weather so we decided to take advantage of it and headed out for a bike ride. We went down to our church and let the kids ride around like crazy. They love having the whole parking lot to ride around in. It's really nice to have a large area for them to ride their bikes and it's easy to keep an eye on them. While we were there, Jason was determined to get Dax to ride without training wheels. At first, Dax didn't want to have anything to do with it, but we talked him into it. He practiced on Afton's old Dora bike and then we took the training wheels off of his bike. And he got the hang of it right away. I think it took him a few times with Jason's help and then he was riding on his own up and down the parking lot. He was so excited when he could ride by himself and we are so proud of him. Way to go Dax! I do have some video of it, but we'll see if I can get it to upload.
