8 is Great!!

I can't believe that my baby girl is 8! It just blows my mind that she can already be that old. I swear that she was just a little baby. They grow up way too fast. Well, she officially turned 8 on March 18th. And she was one lucky girl because she didn't have school that day, so she got to have a very fun day. She woke up to a yummy birthday donut and a big pile of presents. Some of her gifts were clothes, books, money, a map of the United States with each states new quarter, and a sewing machine. She was one spoiled girl! Later that day, we went to Red Robin for lunch and then to Funworks. The kids love going there and playing the games to get tickets. The weather was really rainy so we weren't able to play miniature golf, but the kids still had fun inside playing games. That night we had her favorite dinner, taco soup, followed by a very yummy fire engine red cake. Then we watched the movie National Treasure. She had a great birthday!

A week after her birthday, the 25th of March, she had a birthday party. The party was planned for the park, but the weather wasn't cooperating so we moved it to our church. And it worked out great! I think I might have all the kids birthday parties there.

We played a few different relay games and the kids got a little wild and crazy!

Eating some yummy food after the games. She wanted subway so we did that and pizza and surprisingly most of the kids wanted sandwiches.
Afton with her friend Halle.

We ended the party with a pinata.
The mass chaos after the pinata was smashed open.
