Forgotten Pictures

I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago at one of Afton's t-gall games and forgot to post them. So I thought I'd share them. Logan loves to sit on Jason's shoulders. He's usually hitting Jason on the head and then smiling. Jason just can't take the abuse anymore!

A crawling menace!

Now that Logan is crawling, he loves to make messes. He crawled back into his bedroom and was making lots of noises, so I went to check on him and this is what I found him doing. Man, it's hard having a crawler. I have to actually pick things up off the floor and move things to higher places. He loves to put everything into his mouth. The other day he found a popcorn kernel on the ground and was chomping on it. Thankfully I got it out of his mouth. He's such a little stinker, but he's a cute stinker!

Fun at the game!

Here are some pictures from Afton's t-ball game last Saturday (19th). Jody, Adam, Misty, Dylen and Max came to her game. She was so excited to have some fans there to cheer her on. As soon as she was done batting and running the bases, she'd run over to play with the kids. They had fun running up and down the hill and being silly.

Her favorite thing to do. Playing in the dirt........ during the game.

Our beautiful princesses!

Jason is going to kill me for posting these pictures, but I just had to. Daxon's favorite princess is Cinderella and when Afton dresses up like Belle, Dax likes to dress up as Cinderella. They were having fun dancing together and being silly. And I have to say that Dax makes a cute Cinderella. He'll even play barbies and polly pockets with Afton. He's a great little brother! Or should I say little sister. Everyone thinks he's a girl anyway, might as well be her little sister. Maybe it's time for a hair cut.

We have a crawler!

Finally! The Daley's have a crawler. And it only took three kids to get there. I can't believe it, but Logan is crawling. He first crawled on Wednesday, the 16th. He was trying to get to something in front of him and was on all fours. Usually he'll just kind of move his body back and forth like he's going to lunge forward, but he actually crawled this time. He only crawled a foot or so and that was about it. Now he's getting the hang of it. He crawls for a little while and then he'll rest and then crawl again. We call him our little turtle crawler. Very slow! I guess they get faster as they get the hang of it. I wouldn't know seeing as this is our first crawler. It's so cute to see him crawling around, although now I have to watch him more closely. I can't put him down and expect him to stay there anymore. That part kind of stinks. He also started clapping his hands today. He was in his high chair eating some dinner and was putting his hands together. So I started to clap my hands and then he would clap his hands and smile really big. It was too cute! I love this age. They start to do so many new things. (I have some pictures to go with this post but I couldn't get them to upload, so I'll post them later. Sorry!)

Spiritual Learning Anywhere!

Had to share these pictures. Instead of video games, Daxon now reads the Ensign while using the toilet. He learned this one from his dad. Whatever works right!? He will actually sit and flip through the magazine as if he's really reading it. I also have to share something that he said in church last Sunday. I guess the speaker was talking about Nephi and Daxon blurts out, "Nephi a prophet. He live with Heavenly Father now." His nursery teacher was sitting in front of us and turned around and smiled. He really is paying attention during FHE and nursery!

Oakdale Parade

This last Saturday (the 12th) was the Oakdale Rodeo. Somewhat similar to Strawberry days, although I think that Strawberry days is way better. So Oakdale is crazy for about a week while this rodeo is going on. We decided to go to the parade on Saturday morning and of course it's the day that the weather is crazy hot! I think it got up to like 94 degrees that day. Last year it rained and this year we were all sweating. The kids had a great time at the parade. We met another family in our ward there. The Thompson's have three beautiful children that our kids adore. They just get along so well and have so much fun together. They had fun dancing to the Latino music during the parade. For some reason it was a big hit with our kids. And Afton got to hang out with her boyfriend, Brenden. I know. My kids already have boyfriends and girlfriends. That's Jason's fault. Afton and Brenden are so cute together. It's really like they're boyfriend-girlfriend. As soon as they see each other, they're hugging and kissing (we've put a stop to the kissing). And they're instantly holding hands and caressing one another's faces. And I got a cute picture of them together. I was watching the parade and looked over to the kids and Brenden was sitting in a chair with Afton sitting on his lap. They are so cute together and all the kids had a great time. We always enjoy hanging out with the Thompson's. Thanks for letting us crash your parade outing.
As you can tell the sun was in their faces so it was hard to get a decent picture.

At the parade!

Dax was so excited to see a firetruck.

K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

Here is a cute picture of Dax and his girlfriend Avery. At least that's what Daxon calls her. If you ask him who his girlfriend is, he'll say Avery. Her older brother, Rylan, is on Afton's t-ball team and Dax and Avery run around together at their games. They have so much fun together..... getting in trouble. They're kissing in this picture because of Avery's dad, Paul. She was putting chapstick on and he kept telling her to kiss Dax after she put the chapstick on. They were doing this for like 15 minutes. It was so cute!

Future Musicians!

After Afton's vaccinations, we went to Aunt Jody's house. The kids got to hang out with Dylen and Max. They had so much fun together. They always have lots of fun with them. Dylen, Afton and Dax wanted to make some music together. So we gathered together a bunch of household items and let them play. I have to say that they sounded pretty good. Maybe it's the beginning of a future rock band. Although we had to work on sharing the drums. That was definitely the favorite instrument.
Here's a better picture of all of the kids. The collage pictures are great, but whenever I have a group picture it cuts off part of the kids.
