Oakdale Parade

This last Saturday (the 12th) was the Oakdale Rodeo. Somewhat similar to Strawberry days, although I think that Strawberry days is way better. So Oakdale is crazy for about a week while this rodeo is going on. We decided to go to the parade on Saturday morning and of course it's the day that the weather is crazy hot! I think it got up to like 94 degrees that day. Last year it rained and this year we were all sweating. The kids had a great time at the parade. We met another family in our ward there. The Thompson's have three beautiful children that our kids adore. They just get along so well and have so much fun together. They had fun dancing to the Latino music during the parade. For some reason it was a big hit with our kids. And Afton got to hang out with her boyfriend, Brenden. I know. My kids already have boyfriends and girlfriends. That's Jason's fault. Afton and Brenden are so cute together. It's really like they're boyfriend-girlfriend. As soon as they see each other, they're hugging and kissing (we've put a stop to the kissing). And they're instantly holding hands and caressing one another's faces. And I got a cute picture of them together. I was watching the parade and looked over to the kids and Brenden was sitting in a chair with Afton sitting on his lap. They are so cute together and all the kids had a great time. We always enjoy hanging out with the Thompson's. Thanks for letting us crash your parade outing.
As you can tell the sun was in their faces so it was hard to get a decent picture.
