Costumes for ballet

For Afton's ballet class this week, she got to dress-up in her costume. All of the students get to dress in their Halloween costumes. Afton was so excited to wear her costume and I was thrilled too because it's always nice when they can wear their costumes more than once. Her costume this year was Padme from Star Wars and I thought that she might want to dress as a princess for ballet, but she wanted nothing to do with the princess. It was all Padme and she looked so cute! I don't know if anyone knew who she was, but she looked adorable. Actually I heard her teacher ask her if she was someone from Star Wars and Afton told her Padme. I don't know if she knew who Padme was but she got the whole Star Wars thing so that was good.

I was trying to get her hair to look somewhat similar to Padme's in the movie and I thought it actually turned out pretty good. I just pulled it back into a ponytail and then separated it into pieces and wrapped each piece into a corkscrew braid and then started pulling it up and pinning it down.
