Battlecreek Falls

On Friday (July 10th), we were suppose to go camping with my family, but my dad wasn't feeling well, so we decided to have a backyard campout instead. We had dinner at my parents house, then we hiked up to battlecreek falls with the kids and then came back for a night under the stars in my parent's backyard. Afton and Dax were very excited to sleep outside on the trampoline. Afton had done it before, but this was Daxon's first time so he was really excited. I was a little leery of how the night would go, but it went pretty good, other than my parent's neighbor's big huge spotlight. It was like a street light, but in their backyard over their barn. It was very bright the entire night. I guess it made for a good nightlight for the kids.

Dax, Emma, Afton and Abby by this hole in the side of the hill. They kept asking if there was a bear living in it. I told them no, but I don't think Dax believed me by the expression on his face. I think he was a little scared to be standing so close to the hole.
