It stinks when the weather is crappy for Easter. I guess you just expect it to be nice and warm since it is spring, but we didn't get that kind of weather. It was rainy and cold. We still had a good time though. The kids woke up to find that the Easter bunny had hid their baskets and left them a special note that led them on a scavanger hunt to find their baskets. They went from the living room to the hall closet to the bathroom to the kitchen sink to the washer and then upstairs to find their baskets. That sneaky bunny! The kids loved that they had to find their baskets. After getting their Easter baskets they went on the hunt for their easter eggs inside and outside. Grandma Sharon hid some eggs outside for them. Those lucky kids got two easter egg hunts.

Later in the day we went to Grandma Joy's for lunch and some more easter fun. The kids got to do some hunting for easter presents and money eggs. After they found their treasure, we had some lunch and then played our annual Easter soccer game. This year we opted out of the "no shoe" policy since so many injuries occurred last year. It was a lot better with shoes so I think we'll keep it that way for now. We had a great time hanging out with our family and we were especially happy because Jason's family was still in town and we got to be with them. It's always so much for fun on the holidays when your family is with you.

The Soccer Game:
Just a cute one of Logan during the game
all the kids were in this tree at one point but I only got a picture of Dax in it.

Aaron, Jason's cousin, pulled out his guitar and played some music for the kids. They thought it was great!
