Visitors, Ward Easter Activity, & t-ball

We were so lucky a couple weeks ago because we had some very special visitors. Jason's parents and his sister, Kari, and her husband, Ben, and their kids Kya and Eli came to visit us for Easter. It's kind of a tradition now that they come for Easter since it's been happening for the past few years and we love that they come see us. On Friday, April 2nd, the day after they got here we had a very busy day. First, we took a trip down to the animal museum (a.k.a. Jason's work). His uncle had gotten in some new animals so we wanted to check them out. The kids love going there and seeing all of the animals now that they're not so scared of them. We hung out at Jason's office for a little while and then we headed back home for our Primary Easter Activity. All of the kids were really excited for the activity. They each decorated their own easter bag, played some fun relay games, colored some awesome easter pictures, and then hunted for some easter eggs. I had to help with the relay games and we had planned to play them outside but the weather wasn't cooperating so we moved them into the cultural hall. Luckily it stopped raining for our easter egg hunt and we were able to do that outside.....really quickly though before it started raining again. After the activity, Dax had a t-ball game. I couldn't believe it but they still played in the rain. It was just a light drizzle but it was cold and we were definitely getting wet. He played first base for this game and did an awesome job. He has a great little but strong arm and can throw the ball and catch really well. He needs a little help with the hitting part but we're working on that.

Kya, Logan, Afton and Dax by the ostrich. That thing is huge!
Posing by the scary wolves.
They wanted a picture by the peacock tail and the only good one was of them making silly faces. I love all of the funny faces and poses.
Playing freeze dance at the Easter activity.
the highly anticipated easter egg hunt
Afton invited her friend Alyssa from school
Logan was hanging out in the nursery with Jason and I meant to grab him for the easter egg hunt and forgot so I took a couple eggs and hid them around the nursery for him to find.
He was very happy.....can't you tell.

Dax is very happy because he got a lot of candy.

Daxon's T-ball game:

Every time he gets up to bat he just wants to crush it and you can see it in his face.
Logan and his famous cheese face. When Dax was up to bat Logan would wear his hat for him.
