Week 2 in Utah (June 6th - June 10th)

Since the kids and I were in Utah for so long, I decided to sign them up for swim lessons with their cousins. It started the 6th of June and lasted for two weeks. The kids did so awesome! I think it helped to have their cousins there. This was Logan's first experience with swim lessons and he loved it. The pool was awesome and the instructors were all really great with the kids. I'm so glad that we did swim lessons there.

Dax was so brave this year. He is very cautious and nervous around water. Last year he would hardly even get in the pool. So he came a long way this year and this was on the first day of class.
Dax was in an all boy class so I think that helped him get the courage to get in the water and swim.

After dinner this night, we went to Purple Turtle with my parents for some yummy shakes. I use to go here all the time growing up. Their shakes are the best! I think we went here a few different times while we were in Utah.
Daxon got a serious brain freeze that brought him to tears. Poor Guy! I think he was a little tired too :)

On the 8th of June, the kids and I went fishing at Deer Creek with my parents. They love fishing, especially Afton. Her and Dax both helped reel the fish in and scoop them up in the net. Logan wasn't too interested in the fishing but he loved walking on all the big rocks and then throwing them in the lake.

On the 9th of June, we went to a place called Kangaroo Jack's ( I think that's what it's called). It was my nieces birthday so we celebrated at McDonald's first and then we were going to go to a place called Trafalga but the weather wasn't that great. So we headed over to this bounce house place. It was a huge hit with the kids. They had a great time even though I was complaining about the price. That place is expensive!
