Our Valentine's Day
Well, our Valentine's day wasn't too exciting this year. Jason and I decided to just make it a family day instead of going out on a hot date. We figured we got our date the night before at Prom, so we thought it would be fun to hang out with the kids. In the morning, the kids went on a little heart scavenger hunt for their valentine's. They got some yummy candy, balloons, and the movie "Madagascar 2". Then we loaded everyone up in the car and went to McDonald's for lunch (we let the kids choose where they wanted to eat). After lunch we went to Build-a-Bear because Dax had a gift card from his b-day that needed to be used. And it reminded me how much I hate going to the mall. The place was a zoo! I couldn't believe how many people were there. It was crazy! After the mall, we stopped by the Daley's to drop off some Valentine's and then headed home so the kids could watch their new movie. They had been dying to watch it all day long. Well, Afton couldn't wait. We didn't see it in the theater, so she was so excited to watch it. That girl loves to watch movies. She reminds me of her aunt Jessie.

Logan Bear
I love his chubby little face!
He was making this super funny face and I'm glad I caught it on camera.
b-ball
Lately, Jason has been playing basketball at the church for his young men's activity and we've been tagging along. The boys just loving running around the gym with their little basketballs. Daxon can actually make baskets with his little basketball. And then he gets to sit and watch the boys play and he loves it. My kids love going to the church when the youth are there. They really love the young men and young women. And the YM/YW are all so great with my kids.

tutu
Afton got this really cute tutu from her aunt Kari a couple years ago for Christmas. In Afton's ballet class, they can wear whatever kind of skirt/tutu they want as long as they're wearing they're black leotard. So Afton wanted to wear her tutu that Kari made for her and she looked so cute.
Superbowl Party
For the Superbowl, we went to our friends, the Davenports, house. Jason grilled up some awesome steak and then we watched the end of the game and then played some rock band. I've only played guitar hero and not rock band. In rock band, there's a drummer, a guitarist, and a singer. And Jason and I got to try all of them out. It was really fun. I think Jason had the most fun singing as you can tell from the pictures. And he was actually pretty good.

Rylee Lynn
I am a proud aunt again! My brother and his wife, Brianne, had a little girl on the 3oth of January. They named her Rylee Lynn and mom and baby are doing great. Brianne went to the hospital a few days before Rylee was born because she wasn't feeling well and found out that she had toxemia. Things weren't going so well for Bri, so they decided to do an emergency C-section and Rylee came 6 weeks early. She weighed 3 lbs. 12 oz. and she's doing really good. She's breathing on her own and looks like she should be coming home in 4 weeks or so. The hospital likes the premature babies to reach at least 5 pounds before they allow them to leave. Brianne is also doing much better. It's really good that they decided to deliver Rylee early. We wish we could be there to see our little neice. Congratulations Jason and Brianne on your healthy baby girl. We love you guys! (I got these pictures from Brianne's sister-in-law's blog).
