Pumpkin Patch

This has always been one of my favorite family traditions. I just love going to the pumpkin patch with the kids. They have so much fun running through the fields and picking out their very own pumpkins. I love this time of year! And I'm so happy that my husband has such great hook-ups at these fabulous pumpkin patches. We're very lucky! We invited our great friends, the Thompson's, to join us for a fun family home evening. We met around 4 p.m., drove through some dirt roads to find the best pumpkin patch (most of them had been harvested so it took awhile to find one that still had decent pumpkins), let the kids run wild while picking pumpkins, and then we headed over to the main pumpkin patch for some fun on a train ride and big bouncy pillows. We finished off the night at In-n-Out for dinner. It was a great night!

Logan was having a difficult time walking through the fields. He kept falling in the furrows between the pumpkins. So he'd stop at each one and call for me to help him jump over it.

Now he's stuck in a furrow. He actually liked it. He just sat down and started throwing dirt.

This is one of Logan's favorite things to do right now. He just loves pulling his daddy's ears. I think he loves it so much because of Jason's loud screaming.


The awesome train ride! And i say that sarcastically because it basically just went around the corn maze and that was it. I guess i was expecting to see something exciting.

Logan wasn't very happy to be on the train and I don't know why because he loves trains.

They had these huge bouncing pillows for the kids to jump on. It was actually pretty neat. Dax and Afton loved it. Poor little Dax was getting bounced all over the place but he loved it. Logan didn't want to have anything to do with it.
