Thompson Halloween Party

Our first official Halloween party of the season. My friend Amber invited our family to her family's Halloween party. It's become a tradition as of last year. They tried it out just with their families last year and this year each family got to invite a few friends. So the kids and I were really excited to get dressed up and go to the party. The boys and I were pirates this year and Afton was a cheetah. And Jason was well...just Jason. He was being a stink about dressing up this year. I thought it would've been fun going as a pirate couple but he wasn't going for it. I guess costumes are an every other year thing for him. So next year he's definitely dressing up. Costumes were really easy this year. I already had all of the pirate stuff from dress up clothes and Afton borrowed the cute Cheetah outfit from my mom. I borrowed and used some of my own clothes for my costume. All the costumes were really simple and easy. Just the way I like it.

Logan didn't want a picture taken and i could barely get him to put on his costume. I really wanted him to wear a bandanna on his head but he didn't go for that.

The party was so much fun! They started with fun games for the kids, then a spooky hayride and haunted house, some dancing and limbo and the cupcake walk. They did an amazing job with all of the set up and decorations. We had such a great time. Thanks again Amber for inviting us. I hope you do it again next year.
