"Oh the weather outside is Frightful!"

Yes, it's frightfully hot! We have had the craziest weather here. The last few days have been over 100 degrees! I know, it's terrible. The heat wave started on Thursday and I think the temp was 101. Friday it was 102 and I think it was like 104 on Saturday. And today it was in the upper 90's. And of course our lovely a/c wasn't working, but we got it fixed on Thursday night so we only had to suffer for a day. I think the temp in our house got up to 85 degrees. It was miserable. Anyway, this weather has been awful. Usually we're in the 80's this time of year so the heat wave was very unusual. But good news, the heat is suppose to go away and we are suppose to be back to normal temperatures this week. So keep your fingers crossed for us here in sunny California! We definitely took advantage of the heat. My friend, Amber, and her daughter Sophia, went with me and the kids to a fun fountain water park near our home. We met Misty and her kids there. Afton and Dax were so excited to go and kept asking me if today was the day for the water park. And when it finally was the day for the water park they couldn't wait to go. We were there for a couple of hours and the kids had a great time. They had fun running through the fountains and filling up their buckets. Thanks for the invite Misty!
