Last Saturday, the 3rd, we had a Ward BBQ at the park. Since I'm on the activities committee I was involved with most of the planning and setting up. And it was one of those activities that turned out really nice, but I'm just glad that it's over with. We had a lot of bumps, no I should say more like detours, in the road as we were getting ready for this activity. So I'm just happy that it turned out ok and that it's over. We were afraid that no one was going to show up and that we were going to have way too much food, but we had around 100 people come and plenty of food. So it all worked out. We just had dinner and then set up a couple pinatas for the kids. That was a huge hit with the kids. Afton and Dax had fun trying to hit the pinata and they loved getting handfuls of candy.
