last day of school

Only about a month late that is. Back on the 21st of May was Afton's last day of Kindergarten and instead of doing a graduation they had a little assembly for the parents. The kids had been practicing throughout the year a few different patriotic songs and so they sang their hearts out for us parents. It was so cute and really fun to watch. They were all dressed in red, white and blue and wore visors that they had previously made and designed themselves. It really was cute and they did such a good job singing. Afton was so excited to be on stage and have her family watching her. That girl loves to perform. And she said that she had a great last day of school. They played some really fun games and she got to play with all of her friends and have some yummy snacks. Although the day was lots of fun I think she was a little sad to be done with Kindergarten. She just loved her class and teacher so much. But she is very excited to be moving on to 1st grade and getting her very own desk. We are so proud of our kindergarten grad.

The kids getting ready to show of their mad skills at singing. They were actually all pretty good. There was one little boy that wasn't really singing. It was more like shouting the songs. He was definitely the loudest one there.

Afton with her class. There were actually two classes that were part of the assembly. She was very lucky and got to be in the front row. I guess that's what happens when you have short parents. The kid in the blue shirt was the very loud singer.

They all look so cute in their red, white and blue attire.
