The Nutcracker

On Friday, the 12th, Afton and I went to see the Nutcracker. Jody invited us to go with them and I thought it would be a great girl's night out since Afton is taking ballet. She was so excited to go. She wore her Christmas dress and looked so cute. Misty and Dylen came too so Afton was even more excited to be with her cousin. Those two have so much fun together. I didn't really know how Afton would do through the entire ballet because it is two hours long. At first she was like, "how come they're not talking mommy?" So I had to explain to her that in a ballet they dance not talk. I think she was a little disappointed at first, but soon forgot because she loved it. Her eyes were glued on the stage the entire night. It was great! She said her favorite part were the pretty pink flowers. Thanks Jody for such a great birthday gift. Afton and I had so much fun.

These girls were so hyper after the performance. They were dancing around outside in the freezing cold and giggling nonstop.
