So this is the reason why I'm behind on blogging. I'm still on the activities committee and I was in charge of decorations for our ward Christmas party. So I was busy getting ready for the party. I asked a lady in my ward to help me out with the decorations and she went a little over the top. I was just thinking a few trees with lights around the gym and we were good, but she had this very detailed and elaborate plan. So I went with it and it was very time consuming and lots of hard work, but the end result was fabulous. I think we spent like three days decorating. It was crazy! We strung up lights all around the gym, wrapped the tables like presents, made trees for table decorations, blew up balloons and made snowflakes. We actually had lots of help with the snowflakes from various families in the ward. And the morning of the party we had lots of people show up to help us finish setting up. And it really did look awesome. We had snowflakes hanging down from the ceiling all over the cultural hall. It was really neat. And we got lots of great compliments. I just wish more people showed up. We planned for like 250 people and only about 150 showed up. But I'm just glad that it's over with and I can get back to my own Christmas chaos.
