Sealing

Before we came to Utah, Jason and I both signed up for the new Family Search website. We got registered and were able to see some of our family work that has been done and some that hasn't been done. And I found out that my Grandpa Wayne (my dad's dad) was never sealed to his parents. He also had a sister that hadn't been sealed either. So I thought this would be a great present for my dad for Christmas. I printed out the request forms and had to take them to the Family History library in Salt Lake. Once I took them in I got the blue and pink cards to have the work done. So I stuck it in an envelope and gave to my dad with the rest of his present. He had no idea that his dad was never sealed to his parents, so he was grateful that I was able to find this out and have the work ready to be done. On Wednesday, December 31st, bright and early in the morning my parents and Jason and I went to the Timpanogos Temple to do this work for my Grandpa. It was a really neat experience. My dad was proxy for his dad and Jason and I were proxy for my grandpa's parents. It was really awesome and I'm so glad that we were able to be there to do that with my parents. It was a really special morning. We also got to do some more sealings and for the very last sealing, the sealer, suggested that my dad and I do one together. I hadn't ever thought of that, but I'm so glad that the sealer suggested it. What another great experience. It really was a great day!
