Being sick Sucks!

I hate being sick and I hate being sick when my kids are sick. It really does SUCK! About a week ago Logan and I both got a cold/cough/sore throat/booger eyes. It was horrible! We had a cold in our eyes so when we'd wake up in the morning our eyes would be sealed shut. Jason thought it was pretty funny seeing me wake up in the morning and not being able to open my eyes. And poor little Logan would just cry and cry because he didn't know what was going on. And I was a mean mom and took a picture of him before I cleaned off his eyes. He only had one eye sealed shut so it wasn't too bad. But he sure looked miserable. We are both doing much better now. The coughs are still lingering, but the booger eyes are gone. Hooray! And thankfully the other two kiddo's didn't get the crusty eyes. They did however get the colds, but we're all doing much better. Have I mentioned how much I hate this time of year when all of the sicknesses are going around? I hate it!

Afton made me take this picture of her. I didn't know why at first but later she told me because she had her hair tucked into her shirt and it made her hair look short. She wanted everyone to see her with short hair or what she would look like with short hair. If you can't tell she really wants to cut her hair and I'm being a mean mom and not letting her. Well, I told her we could cut it if we found a place that does "locks for love". And she thought that was pretty cool to donate her hair to someone that really needs it. So I guess I'm going to let her cut it since it's for a good cause. I don't know when it will happen, but it'll be on the blog when it does. I'm just taking my sweet time enjoying her beautiful long hair.
