Every year, our ward participates in "Friends and Families for schools". This year we did some service for an elementary school where we live. It wasn't Afton's school, but it was still fun to go help out and the kids had a great time running around and being crazy. Afton actually got to help me do some painting. She really enjoyed it! It was kind of sad though because there were maybe two families helping out who actually have children that go to that school and the rest were from our ward. You think people would be more willing to help out especially if they had kids that went there, but I think people are just getting way too lazy these days.
After helping out at the school, Afton and Dax went to Brenden's birthday party. He had a Sonic the hedgehog themed party and his mom did a great job with the decorations and games. The party was at their house outside and the kids had a blast. They love going to parties and getting to hang out with their friends. Happy Birthday Brenden!
