Fun at the County Fair (8/1)

Believe or not we've never been to the county fair since we've lived here in Cali. Pretty amazing! I guess we never really had the desire to go. But we decided to check it out this year. Misty had mentioned that they were going so we decided to tag along with them. We met her and her family there. We got there around 5:30 and it was still pretty dang hot outside. When the sun started setting it got a little cooler. The kids didn't mind the heat. They had lots of fun riding the rides. Although it cost a fortune. It was a dollar a ticket and most rides were 3 or more tickets. I know I'm complaining about the cost of things again, but it's crazy how expensive things are now. We let Afton and Dax choose a couple of rides each. After riding on the rides, we went on the search for the petting zoo. It took awhile to find. The fair grounds were huge! They played at the petting zoo area for a little while, riding the tractors, playing in the corn box, and petting the animals. We got to enjoy the Beach Boys as they played. They were one of the bands that performed at the fair. Lucky us! After the fair we were starving so we stopped at Red Robin for a bite to eat. Adam, Jason's cousin, came with us. Afton and Dax just adore him and they were thrilled that he came with us.

Adam wanted to play this game on the way out. He got three chances to kick the soccer ball through a small hole. And he almost had it twice.

Eating dinner at Red Robin. I love the top two pictures of the kids with Adam. You can tell how much they love him. My husband is such a dork in our picture. I love Logan's cheese at Jason. He always smile like that. It's so cute!
