Going to Preschool

Since Afton is done going to preschool, I decided to have Dax take her spot. If I didn't, then I'd have to put him on Gayle's wait list and I may not have been able to get him in next year. But if he just took her spot then he was automatically in, so that's what we did. At first I didn't know how he would do and if I really wanted him to start preschool that early, but I'm glad I did. I think it will be good for Dax. There are mostly boys in his class, so he enjoys going and playing with them. And he's adjusted really well. At first he kept saying he didn't want to go but after his first day(8/7) he loves it. He will still get a little shy when I drop him off but he's doing great. He's definitely not like Afton was. She was like, "See ya mom" and running into Gayle's house. He's a little more hesitant and clingy which I don't mind. When I pick him up he's had a great time but he's ready to come home. I usually will ask Gayle how he was and she says that he was great, but the boys will get a little crazy sometimes. I'm sure he's a lot different than Afton was and being around the other boys I'm sure they get a little rambunctious. Hopefully he's not too much of a handful.
