We are mormons!

We found out about a week after Kindergarten started that Afton's teacher is LDS. And the story to how we found out is kind of funny. It goes like this: On back to school night her teacher heard Jason speaking Spanish on his cell phone to one of his customers. The next day in school she asked Afton how her daddy new spanish. And Afton said, "my daddy served his mission in Mexico!" So her teacher said "I think we go to the same church Afton." "Do you go to the Mormon Church?" And Afton kind of looked at her funny and said, "Um....I don't know, but I'm in CTR 5." Jason and I thought it was so funny. Although Afton doesn't think it's funny. She doesn't like us to tell people the story because they laugh about it. But you just can't help it. And I was thinking about it, but we don't really talk about being "mormons" and Jason was saying how he didn't realize that he belonged to the mormon church until he was ten and they moved away from Utah. So we sat her down and told her what religion we are so she will know how to answer that question if it ever comes up again. And I was so happy to find out that her teacher is LDS. So now Afton does have someone in her class that's a member of the church.
